The third annual Eastern Region Christmas Do took place on the evening of Saturday 3 December, ( and for quite a few of us the morning of Sunday 4 December ! ), at the Three Tuns Inn, Pettistree, Woodbridge.  Features of the Do this year apart from the obligatory Christmas meal included the return of Robbie’s popular MX-5 anorak quiz the Eastern region prize draw, a guess the mystery object competition (the object having come hot foot from a rival owners club Christmas do earlier in the day) and our exclusive MX-5 Owners Club Christmas Crackers. 

We were all taken by surprise this year when Jon Elsey won the quiz, but he was similarly surprised as having anticipated this we had a special booby prize already prepared for him !!! 

The festivities carried on in to the earlier hours of the morning for quite a few of us but unlike last years do everyone managed to make it for breakfast in the morning. ( I was particular pleased about that).  A very pleasant evening and we must do it again nest year.

Thanks to everyone who helped out with the donation of prizes, cracker construction, printing menus etc.  And very big thanks to Steve at the Three Tuns for keeping the bar open so late.
