and myself represented the Eastern Region on this run, which was
organised by the Hemel Massive. Very early start [06:15am] for
the run down to Fleet services on the M3, where we joined
another 10 cars for the convoy to Beaulieu. Lovely countryside
once we got away from the towns, and a very warm welcome from
the estate people. We were mentioned in the official programme
of events and even had special signs guiding us to a prestige
parking area. Had a nice picnic lunch, then a tour round the
museum, Martin and I had a ride on the slightly scary monorail,
but the views over the estate were worth it. A good run back to
Suffolk saw me home at about 9 pm. A very good day, met some new
faces and also some old friends, Many thanks to Katz who
organised the day.

I learnt an important lesson on the way home,
the best way to get the full effect of a monsterflow in the
Dartford Tunnel is to drive in second gear !!! Martin.

Among the many
old friends we met on the run were
Matts former wheels!!
